Horrorfest Administrator Review
Recent remakes of past horror classics have been a let down and this one is more of the same. I was totally upset with the direction and whacko parts of this movie. I really wish they would of continued the series and not started over because they ruined a classic here.

to be honest, after all those horror movies we have seen you’ll wonder if they can still do something new….
and one more thing…
haven’t you noticed that victims often run into an isolated place where they get killed?
LOL, not only that, they’ll always ‘check out’ dark, blind corners whenever they hear something then run into a room and lock themselves in. By Darwinian selection, these people should have been exterminated longer ago.
Some even literally run themselves into that saw if you know what I mean.
Anyway, the Jason character has always been giving me creeps ever since I watched the original version of Friday the 13th. Never again will I do that to myself.
Hey, looks like I’ve not really missed much.
Cheers,
C K
Friday the 13th is a classic that has been disrespected with all the copycats and remakes that have been made since. There are few times that a remake or a part 2,3, etc. will be of any value. Sure they may sell, but that’s the problem with many movies today. All producers care about is the money. They draw you in with a carefully crafted trailer – make their money the first days of release – and leave you out of pocket.
There are exceptions. For example, the new Dawn of the Dead I very much enjoyed. It was scary as hell. The acting was good and the music added an extra creative touch. The use of the Johnny Cash song in the opening scene was priceless.
This film SUCKED. I sat down and wrote a four page review of this film. Everyone is like : “Four pages for this film?” Yes. Four pages.
The kills were lame and the ending was predictable and weak.
I am so tired of Hollywood remaking every old horror film. The first one is a classic and this one is terrible.
