Horrorfest Administrator Review
A story set back in time in which the movie has a very nice nostalgia feel to it with a bright and colorful filming technique. Warbirds is pretty interesting even though it is a little far fetched.

Warbirds, eh? Flying dinosaurs meet war planes, meet a group of women pilots. To be honest, I’m actually kind of intrigued.
While I’m a huge fan of campy flicks, what bothers me about Warbirds specifically (and I’m going from previews here) is that based on its ‘tv movie’ status, the computer effects come off as cheap. You’re review suggests it’s mediocre, but I wonder, have you ever considered giving a rating for effects? In that department I’d say it’s probably below average – at least in mainstream standards. Arguably, it also shows how much can be done these days thanks to a bit of computer animation – I’m almost disappointed this wasn’t made 20 years ago just so I could see the wires and puppets.
The entire production was no doubt motivated by someone who flipped from a WWII history channel doc to Jurassic Park and thought, ‘these should be together’!
In any case, I have to give you credit for giving this flick its moment in the spotlight. While there’s no shortage of straight to dvd/tv sci-fi/horror movies released – there is a shortage of attention paid.
Still, I’ve got the impression that Warbirds is not quite bad enough to be brilliant, and not good enough that I’d actually watch the whole thing.
I love your reviews so I put your link at my own blog. If you’d like it removed, just say the word. Thanks!
This site is bad azz man! the picture caught my eye and felt a need to respond.
I can understand the flying terydactals(?) getting to the planes, but i see a freakin’ T-REX in the shot…didn’t know they could fly…looks intresting anyways, try to see how I can rent it
I really liked the look and feel of this movie. But as far as the plot went, it was just ehhhh. Worth seeing thou.
