Inferno is really more of an “expirimental” film than anything else. There are some neat effect throughout the film, however the story just ends up being a huge disappointment.

This is not true. It`s not a dissapointment. You didn`t understand the movie! It`s a great movie! One of the best movies from Dario Argento! It`s awesome! 10/10
Inferno is one of my alltime greatest horror-movies!
I agree, this really was a poor film overall.
Stunning visuals and excellent use of mood fall short of making up for a complete failure in story.
Tragically this tends to be a theme with Argento.
Mother of Tears, for example, ranks among the worst films I’ve ever seen in any genre, a shame since Suspiria is such a gem.
