Audrey Rose is not really scary by any means. However, if you watch it you will see why it is still considered a horror film.  The acting is great and helps make up for where the film lacks in many other areas.  Without Anthony Hopkins, this film could have been much worse.

If you go into this film not expecting much, you may be pleasantly surprised.  At the very least, it will not be the worst horror flick that you have ever seen.  A fairly well paced story that still could have used a bit of a push here and there in order to keep the viewers more involved and entertained.  While there might be better choices out there, Sarah Michelle Gellar gets the job done as the lead.
