	If The Mist excels at one thing it is showing how fear and paranoia can quickly change the way that people treat one another. Decent acting, a good atmosphere, and a fitting ending round out this above average Stephen King horror film.

	In this remake of the Japanese horror film “Chakushin Ari,” several people start receiving voice-mails from their future selves — messages which include the date, time, and some of the details of their deaths.
	Horrorfest Administrator Review
	The concept mimics “The Ring” yet not nearly as creative or original in any way. A few tense moments, but no big surprises. Although a little more creepy, the original film “Chakushin Ari” is not much better than this lackluster remake.
